Welcome to Brew York’s flagship venue in the heart of Walmgate, York! This is where Brew York’s journey began in 2016, and today, you can experience the brewery up close, surrounded by the very brewing vessels that bring our beers to life.

The main taproom on the ground floor features exposed brick walls and vibrant murals. Here, you’ll find six cask hand pulls and ten keg taps pouring fresh Brew York beer—from our Signature classics to limited new releases.

Join one of the weekly brewery tours, led by a knowledgeable in-house guide, to explore Brew York’s history and beer-making process, complete with tastings along the way. The gift shop, located at the entrance, offers our latest can releases, classic brews, and a selection of branded merch.

When the weather’s fine, enjoy a drink in the Brewer’s Yard at the front, or discover the hidden Riverside beer garden at the back—a true gem in York.

Upstairs, you’ll find a Bavarian-style Beer Hall with 40 beer taps, offering the largest selection of beers, lagers, and ciders in York and beyond. The open kitchen serves up bold, Asian-inspired dishes from YUZU Street Food, and don’t miss the weekly Sunday quiz in the Beer Hall!
