If you have never visited Jorvine, you’ve been missing out!

Jorvine is an amazing independent wine shop in the city of York with lots to offer. It was founded by Kris and Jess back in 2021, both of whom are passionate about sourcing and sharing excellent wines. Jorvine is now home to an extensive selection of over 400 wines from around the world that can be enjoyed in their tasting lounge, bought in their shop or delivered straight to your door. There is a bottle of wine to fit everyone’s tastes and for every occasion.

Wine takes centre stage at Jorvine, but that’s not all that they serve. If you are looking for somewhere to pop in and relax during a day out in York, to catch up with friends or take a much needed break, Jorvine’s is the perfect place to stop by. During the day at Jorvine’s you can experience a wonderfully different service to the much loved evenings of relaxing with a glass of wine. Swap the wine for a delicious roasted coffee that is served daily with a selection of cakes to be enjoyed alongside. The coffee menu includes all the classics with an espresso, americano, flat white, latte and cappuccino all available for less than £3!

You can also grab a bite to eat at Jorvine’s with some tasty options on their Food & Nibbles menu. Bite into a tasty sandwich made with some deliciously fresh Haxby bakehouse focaccia and authentic Italian meats and cheeses. The tasty focaccia bread, meats and cheeses are also served up on the Jorvine cheese and charcuterie boards. With small, medium and large to choose from, you can enjoy lots of delicious options on your board including meats such as Milano salami, salami with fennel, coppa di parma, prosciutto di parma and cheeses such as taleggio, pecorino and Yorkshire blue. Other menu items include crisps, olives, bread and oil, and truffle and pecorino nuts.

Delicious cheeses are not only found on the sandwiches and boards at Jorvine. Head on over to their cheese counter where you will find a varied selection of high quality locally sourced and artisan cheeses. Make sure you pop in and browse the wonderful cheeses to pick your favourite to buy and take home. The tasty locally sourced goods don’t stop there. If you find yourself near Jorvine on a Saturday morning, make sure you pop in to grab one of the freshly baked breads and pastries dropped off by Bluebird Bakery.

Jorvine is an amazing establishment to visit throughout your day or evening with a wide selection of different produce to enjoy. So make sure the next time you find yourself in York you pay them a visit to discover the greatness they have to offer.
