Their menu is constantly evolving but they always offer a selection of well thought out choices using the freshest produce, homemade & as local as possible. They are running a 5-course Valentine’s menu especially for the occasion priced at £35.
Il Mulino is an authentic Italian restaurant in Hebden Bridge’s mill, one of the oldest buildings in the village. The rustic setting in the listed building is a stunning backdrop for a meal, Not to mention the top quality food. They specialise in hearty and honest Italian food cooked with passion and flair. Last year they ran an exciting specials board for the occasion featuring an array of starters, mains and cocktails so it’s likely that this year they will do the same.
Ricci’s Place is a family-run restaurant in the heart of Halifax which is popular with locals and visitors alike. They serve fantastic food from their open kitchen and is a wonderful setting for a relaxed brunch, lunch or dinner alike. Another impressive ex industrial building turned restaurant is Shibden Mill Inn which was originally a corn and spinning mill, before being converted into a country pub in 1890. Today visitors are welcomed with warm hospitality to enjoy first class dining against an inviting backdrop of open fires, low beamed ceilings and a cosy bar. The restaurant is highly decorated by several of the most notable reviewing institutions and holds a place in the top 50 gastropubs of 2023. A foodie couple’s dream.
Eric’s Restaurant is an award-winning, fine-dining eatery in Lindley, Huddersfield. Their seasonal menus reflect the excellent local produce they are able to source. It’s an atmospheric restaurant which is presented with every much attention to detail as the food. Eric himself is a local to Huddersfield and worked under the likes of Marco Pierre White Bill Grainger across the world but returned back to Yorkshire to open he self named spot. They have two set menus running for Valentine’s, a brunch on the Saturday preceding and an evening menu for the day itself.
The Hawthorn in Haworth is a gastropub that showcases an array of local antiques including a stunning collection of impressive Barraclough clocks, a homage to the Clockmaker who lived in the building in the Georgian era. They serve food made using the freshest seasonal British produce and their menu is constantly changing to reflect this. Think pub classics with added pzazz.
The Treehouse is a re-developed space that aims to breathe new life into a premises that had remained closed for a number of years. The building has been brightened up and balconies have been added overlooking the beck. On the menu they have all the pub classics and a great selection of drinks to pair.
