The official residence of the Lord Mayor of York for almost 300 years, the Mansion House invites you to explore the city’s most exclusive residence.

Built to entertain royalty and dignitaries, this remarkable home showcases a lesser known history of York. As well as being home to some of the city’s most infamous figures, the Mansion House contains an array of hidden treasures, showcasing civic life and mayoral decadence.
