Born to Lose was created as a project by Street Cleaver, who use local and seasonal ingredients to create experimental Asian cuisine.

This is why Born to lose is just as experimental and alternative in the food world. We use local ingredients to create a unique burger and small plates menu, also offering an alternative Sunday lunch. Born to lose experiment with the classic burger, making something unique and different.

We have one rule in the Born To Lose kitchen, there are no rules, we have a punk rock dining ethos, if it tastes good, make it. We bake our own bread daily, make our own pickles, sauces and make our own in house ferments, we mince our own locally sourced meat, and change our menus seasonally to ensure the freshest food, and also offering something different and interesting all the time.

We also do Street Cleaver pop ups, from Japanese small plates nights to Soul Food experimental Steak night. PUN K ROCK DINING / NO RULES / BORN TO LOSE

Our classic burger is named the Bourdain, after the late great Anthony Bourdain, as thats how he liked his burger, simple, fresh and classic.
